Hello Handsome

Handsome Films is a content creation company run by Melanie Dicks and Jessica Hines. The London based company, with production hubs in Bristol and Mumbai, India, creates commercially driven content produced with minimal environmental impact.

Championing script discovery, with a passion for exploring stories that deal with challenging subjects in engaging ways, we create bespoke production and distribution partnerships for each project to reach a global audience.

To launch, we have brought together a diverse, internationally focused slate of work: a dark, psychological drama set in 1980's Corfu, a high end crime series set in a global shipping empire, an Indian political TV drama, a major biopic set at the UN during the cold war, a unique take on a classic English period drama and a ground breaking 12 part thriller for Indian SVODs with major Bollywood stars.

We work in partnership with Greenshoot ensuring that our productions will be made with low carbon filming practices that enable us to embed sustainable strategies from script to screen, resulting in minimal environmental impacts.

Where relevant, we'll orchestrate impact campaigns for productions with appropriate campaign groups to strengthen and accelerate awareness and action on the environmental or social issues explored in the production.
